I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in North Yorkshire, offering one to one in-person home visits or online consultations.
Who am I?
I am Nicola and I have over 5 years of breastfeeding support experience as a breastfeeding counsellor and then International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
I live with my husband and 3 boys in a village near Thirsk and provide quality lactation support throughout the surrounding areas.
What do I offer
Offering face to face support as Home visits within about 30 miles of the Thirsk area in North Yorkshire, and online empathetic, experienced private lactation consultations.

My philosopy
I firmly believe that we all know our families best and what will work for us. I love being able to support mothers and parents with evidence based information and non-judgemental support, working with them to find the personalised approaches that work best in order to meet their breastfeeding and lactation goals. With my own neurodivergent family, I aim to practice neuro-affirming care, and I am an LGBTQIA+ ally. I am continually learning and reflecting and aim to provide an equitable and inclusive practice for all.
